The one constant throughout my life has been music. When I was 14, my best friend taught me a few chords on the guitar. I would sit-in with his family and friends on weekends on their back porch playing country and bluegrass. That’s where I started playing the guitar and singing. I had the honor and privilege to serve in the United States Air Force as a Technical Training Instructor for Security Forces.

After that, for 10 years I lived in Nashville “chasing that neon-rainbow” to become a songwriter/major label artist. Interestingly enough “Chasing That Neon Rainbow” was recorded by Alan Jackson and co-written by Nashville songwriter Jim McBride. Jim took me under his wing when I first moved to Nashville and spent a lot of time writing with me and teaching me the ropes.
Having someone of his caliber believing in me kept me moving forward.

I had been right at the cusp of signing a major record deal when meeting with Rick Blackburn of Atlantic records, Doug Johnson of Giant Records, Harold Shedd of Mercury Records, Ken Woods of Step One Records and Wayne Halper of DreamWorks Nashville. Each time, I would struggle with “am I just one step closer to getting the deal” or, “just another step further away from ever getting a deal?”
I believed it was the latter and in 2002 I put it down and moved on. 

Another constant throughout my life has been my struggle with Faith, wanting to believe yet always turning away and ignoring it.
On December 16th, 2013, I could no longer ignore it. I stopped questioning it, I stopped trying to figure everything out and I started believing in God. On that day, I, along with my wife and our 11 year old son, sitting at our kitchen table with the Pastor from a local Church, gave our lives to Christ. 

In 2014, after 12 years of walking away from the music, I had the opportunity to work with my longtime friend, Nashville Producer/Singer/Songwriter, Adam Wheeler.
We recorded an album titled “Sinner to Sinner” which is best described as Cutting-Edge Christian Country. 

6 years later, on January 1st, 2020, following God's lead, I stepped out in total faith and left behind the security of my job and started "Sinner To Sinner Ministries" which is a registered 501c3 nonprofit ministry whose mission is:
    "Connecting ordinary people to an extraordinary message through word and song."

On June 24th, 2020, Adam and I were back in a Nashville studio and recorded an album titled “Love Is Louder.”

The two constants in my life; the pull of the music and the struggle with my faith, are now combined in the way and in the time they needed to be for me to step out in total faith and have now become the constant strength in my life and my life’s purpose of sharing an extraordinary message through word and song from sinner to sinner.
